6th Annual Duke's Choice Awards

Completed nominations with the agreement to the terms outlined below must be submitted to Sun no later than March 14, 2008. All submission materials become the property of Sun Microsystems and will not be returned. This form must be completed and submitted by an authorized representative of the nominated company. Winning entries will be announced at JavaOne 2008, Sun's Worldwide Java Developer Conference. Please review the details of the awards program thoroughly prior to completing this form.

Submission Materials :
The following items must be submitted with your nomination:

• Completed Nomination Form

• 500-word description of product/technology/innovation being nominated. Please emphasize the role of Java^TM technology in making this a success, with specific examples of the technology and the benefits it brings to the development process and end product/system. Please include the name of the product, principal programmers and design engineers, customer names, target industries/markets, quotes, and other specific information about the nominee.

If your product or application is chosen as a winner of the Duke's Choice Awards, you will be asked to submit the following:

• One or more 1028 x 768 (approximately) JPEG images of the product/system being nominated. (Unless they're really cool and well-rendered, these should not be screen shots.)

• EPS file with company logo

Eligibility and Selection:
Any innovative, creative, novel implementation of Java technology that benefits customers, the industry, or society as a whole, is eligible for nomination. Selection is at the sole discretion of Sun Microsystems. The Duke's Choice Awards program is a marketing and promotional program and as such, selections are chosen for, among other things, their broad audience appeal, their correlation to, and support of, Sun strategy and objectives, and their timeliness and relevance to the JavaOne^SM Conference audience. Preference will be given to "new" products and technologies introduced during calendar year 2007/2008, but prior year introductions will also be considered.

Release:
By clicking on the "accept" button below, I hereby acknowledge that I have the authority to execute this release and that the Submission Materials are original to Nominee or Nominee has the right to let Sun use the Submission Materials. I grant Sun and its agents, subcontractors, licensees and assignees the right to use, copy, display, publish, distribute and communicate the Submission Materials (or part thereof), without further notice or permission, for the following purpose: in JavaOne Conference marketing and promotional activities, including but not limited to, advertising, web site use, show guide and show daily publications, executive keynote presentations, and press releases. These rights are worldwide and royalty free.

The Company designated below hereby executes and agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement through its authorized representative, whose name appears below.
