The MIF Doclet is an extension to the Javadoc[TM] tool that generates API documentation in MIF (Maker Interchange Format) from declarations and doc comments in source code in the Java[TM] programming language. It uses exactly the same set of Javadoc tags (such as @return, @param and @see) that the standard doclet uses. FrameMaker batch processing programs enable these MIF documents to automatically be opened in Adobe FrameMaker and converted to FrameMaker native binary format, PDF or PostScript. Alternatively, you can manually choose "Save As" to save to Microsoft RTF, Microsoft Word or WordPerfect.
