Help is available for each task.

Task 1

Draw a picture! Make a copy of the FTP GUI picture on a piece of paper so you see exactly what you need to create.

If you feel pressed for time, use the pictures in the course notes. Note that this picture does not need to be an artisitic masterpiece.

Task 2

Annotate your picture with the expansion behavior. Draw symbols on your picture that indicate how the GUI will react to expansion. Compare your picture with those in the course notes.

Task 3

Create your GUI. No skeleton code is provided for this exercise. You may create your GUI using one of the two example styles in the course notes or with your own preferred style.

Try not to look at the example source in the course notes while creating this GUI.

Try to create the GUI in small chunks. Do not attempt to code the entire GUI and then "see if it works." Try building a small piece, and then test it.
