Product and Technology Releases
The following J2EE products and technologies were recently released:
J2EE 1.4 SDK
The J2EE 1.4 SDK has recently been updated to include support for JavaServer Faces technology and JSTL. The J2EE 1.4 SDK contains the Sun Java System Application Server Platform Edition 8; and a production-ready application server free for development, deployment, and redistribution.
J2EE 1.4 Tutorial
The J2EE 1.4 Tutorial describes how to develop JavaServer Faces applications for the J2EE 1.4 SDK, how to use web services technologies, and how to write applications using the new versions of J2EE platform technologies (Servlet 2.4, JSP 2.0, EJB 2.1, JMS 1.1, J2EE Connector 1.5).
