Aids developers in making their JFC-based programs accessible to users
with disabilities.

Migration
Tool 1.0.2 for Sun Java System Application Server 8
The Migration Tool can be used to automate the migration of J2EE
applications to the Sun Java System Application Server 8.
Java
Application Verification Kit (AVK) for the Enterprise 1.4.1 First
Customer Ship
The AVK is available to help you test your application for correct use
of J2EE APIs and to maintain portability across J2EE-compatible
application servers, and has a number of new features.
JSR 170
Content Repository for Java Technology API 0.16.2 Proposed Final
Draft
Specifies a standard API to access content repositories in Java 2,
independently of implementation.
JSR
243 Java Data Objects 2.0 - An Extension of the JDO Specification
Public Reconsideration Ballot
The high-level objectives are to make JDO easier to use, closely align
JDO with J2EE, standardize JDO's database support, and broaden the
scope of JDO.
JSR 181
Web Services Metadata for the Java Platform 0.9.2 Proposed Final
Draft
Defines an annotated Java format that uses Java Language Metadata (JSR
175) to enable easy definition of Java Web Services in a J2EE
container.
NetBeans
IDE 4.1 (Beta Release)
This release has over 15 new modules for developing J2EE 1.4
applications and is built on NetBeans 4.0 technology. Users can develop
programs for J2SE, J2ME, and now J2EE EJBs and Web Services. New in the
beta release is the Eclipse Project Import Module.
JSR 208
Java Business Integration 1.0 Public Review Draft
Extends J2EE with business integration SPIs.
JSR 73
Data Mining API Specification 1.0.1 Final Release
Addresses the need for a data mining API aligned with existing,
evolving data mining standards efforts.
