The Java Card 2.2.2 Specification will provide numerous enhancements to the Java Card platform, including enhancements to ease the management and increase interoperability of contactless cards, additional cryptography and security features, and utility APIs for memory-efficient applet development.

NetBeans IDE 5.0 Beta 2 Now Available (November 18, 2005)
Over 1,880 bugs have been fixed and Emacs keybindings have been implemented since the Beta 1 release. Also included in this release: the new intuitive GUI builder Matisse and SJS application server, Weblogic9 and JBoss 4 support.
