DocFather Search Engine for Documentation

 
 

Ever wanted to search through the Java Tutorial or Java 2 SDK documentation? This DocFather search facility does just that. It can be used over the Internet, and, alternatively, the applet version can be downloaded for local use.

DocFather search technology available in two forms: applet and servlet. The servlet version will work with any HTML browser, as it serves pure HTML pages. The applet version runs Java technology locally and works with the most common browsers.

  • Applet Version - DocFather3
    This is an applet with binary indexes for the Java Tutorial and Java 2 SDK SE documentation. It works with Netscape 2.0 and Internet Explorer 2.0 and later versions. At the following links you have the choice to (1) perform searches over the Internet or (2) download the applet and indexes for searching through local copies of the documentation.
