Java Business Integration Partner Program
The Java Business Integration (JBI) partner offeing is a new offering for software vendors, system integrators and customers interested in the delivery of open and interoperable solutions for the cost effective development, deployment and management of service-oriented business integration solutions.

Java Business Integration (JSR208) is a open specification developed through the Java Community Process (JCP) that describes a framework and set of open APIs for interoperability to enable the construction and deployment of open integration solutions.

End Users / Developer Benefit

End user customers who build service oriented integration solutions based on products and services that are JBI enabled get a solution that is extensible and expandable in a standard and open way without disrupting current operations.

End users also benefit from the assurance that JBI Platform Provider partners have tested compliant with the specification ensuring interoperability. In addition JBI Component Providers have tested that their service engine or binding components are compliant with the component APIs assuring exchangeability between JBI Platform Provider implementations.

For example, when a new communication protocol such as AS3 becomes available, users of JBI-based solutions will be able to plug the AS3 binding, through the standardized APIs, into their JBI-based solutions without disruption of existing system operations.
