The Fish for a Flat-Screen TV Contest was designed to encourage developers to share their experiences with the GlassFish (or the Java EE 5 SDK or the Java Application Platform SDK) feature set. To qualify for the grand prize of a 52-inch LCD HD TV, developers had to download the GlassFish V2 Beta or either of the SDKs and then send their feedback by writing their evaluations in the text box on the submission form or by providing URLs to their blog entries that described their experiences. The contest ran May 1 to June 15, 2007, and all feedback was collected. The person with the best feedback, which was judged by a panel of experts, won the flat-screen TV.
