NetBeans Portal Pack 3.0.2 Software Release Notes
The NetBeans Portal Pack 3.0.2 software
includes a plugin for the Portlet Container 2.1 software bundled with the Java
Application Platform SDK Update 7.

System Requirements
Supported Operating Systems
The NetBeans IDE 6.7.1 software runs on operating
systems that support the Java VM. The NetBeans Portal Pack 3.0.2
software
has been tested on these platforms:
- Solaris 10 Operating System (Solaris OS) 7/05 (SPARC®
and
x86/x64 Platform Edition)
- Microsoft Windows XP Professional
SP2 or later
- Mac OS X 10.4.5 or later
- Red Hat Fedora Core 3
The NetBeans Portal Pack 3.0.2 software also runs on the
following platforms:
- Solaris 8 OS (SPARC and x86/x64
Platform Edition) and Solaris 9 OS (SPARC and x86/x64 Platform Edition)
- Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional SP4
- Various other Linux distributions

- The NetBeans Portal Pack 3.0.2 software runs on
NetBeans
IDE
6.7.1.
Configuration Information
- The NetBeans Portal Pack 3.0.2 software has the same
configuration requirements as the NetBeans IDE 6.7.1.
Known Issues
- When a portlet Java file is removed from a portlet
application,
the corresponding portlet entry in portlet.xml does not get removed.
Workaround: Delete the portlet entry
manually from the portlet.xml whenever a portlet Java file is deleted
from the portlet application.
- The SDK server and plugin should be installed as root or a
local
user for the NetBeans Portal Pack 3.0.2 software to work.
