Portlet Container 1.0 Release Notes


The Portlet Container 1.0 software is available as an application server extension when you install the Java Application Platform SDK Update 3 Preview 2 software.

Technical Requirements


The Portlet Container 1.0 software is an add-on to the Java Application Platform SDK Update 3 Preview 2 software. Refer to the Sun Java System Application Server 9.1 Beta 2 Release Notes for information on technical requirements and supported platforms.

Configuration


The user name and password values used to log into the Sun Java System Application Server 9.1 Beta 2 software are the same values used to log into the Portlet Container 1.0 software.

Known Limitations


  • When a large JSP page is included into the portlet,the JSP Page Contents are rendered out of the Portlet window in the Portletcontainer Driver.

  • When the mode of one portlet is changed, it resets the mode of other portlets to view mode. If there are two portlets. On selecting the edit mode of one portlet, the contents of edit are displayed. Now if the help mode of the other portlet is selected, the first portlet gets reset to view mode.
