  4. Create the Producer, Consumer and the Remote WSRP Portlets using the Admin GUI.
  5. Click on WSRP tab on the Portlet Container driver page to view the deployed WSRP portlets.

For more information, refer to the WSRP 1.0 article Open-Source Portal Initiative at Sun, Part 4: Web Services for Remote Portlets.

Configuration

The user name and password values used to log into the Sun Java System Application Server 9.1 software are the same values used to log into the WSRP 1.0 software.

Troubleshooting

Description: The WSDL URL always points to localhost and port 8080, how do I change it?
Workaround: The edit option of the WSRP Consumer and WSRP Producer admin portlets provide options to change these default values.

Description: I am unable to edit the WSRP remote portlet. This option is either disabled or is unavailable.
Workaround: Some WSRP producer implementations do not allow the edit option for unauthenticated users. The WSRP 1.0 testdriver does not provide options to edit a portlet for unauthenticated users. You can edit the options for the remote portlets by logging in to the test driver using the sign-in option.
