Cloud Computing Area on the Pavilion Floor
Cloud computing provides a way to deploy and access everything from single systems to massive amounts of IT resources on demand – in real time, at an affordable cost. It makes incredibly large amounts of computer and storage capabilities available to anyone with a credit card. And since the best cloud strategies build on concepts and tools that developers already know, clouds also have the potential to redefine the relationship between information technology and the developers who depend upon IT. Visit the Cloud Zone at the Pavilion to learn firsthand about tools and technologies that can help you harness the power of the cloud.

Come and play with interactive demos and applications in Sun's Change (Y)our World Playground. Focusing on freedom, colloboration, and leadership in social change, the Change (Y)our World Playground will feature applications tied to global awareness and showcase demos that foster audience engagement and participation. Get real life hands-on experience with the latest Java technology-based products and applications. You can also check out the LincVolt car, see how Neil Young repowered the LincVolt with a new series-hybrid system that runs on biodiesel and electricity, and also learn how Java technology is used to monitor resource elements. We will be sending out surveys to the 2009 JavaOne conference attendees a few weeks after the Conference concludes. We pay close attention to feedback from JavaOne conference attendees as it is extremely valuable in helping us develop next year's Conference. Once you complete your survey and you will be entered into a drawing to win one of two $500 cash prizes. Winners will be posted on the JavaOne conference website.
