Dude, Where's My Pass?

Dude, it's your turn to submit a 30 second video commercial on why you should be at JavaOne this year and why it is THE event to attend. Tell us where you are coming from and what is most important to you about one of the world's largest developer events. Be creative and be funny but don't forget why you want to be with us at the conference.

The winners, yes winners (plural) will receive a full conference pass and $1500 to offset travel expenses.

The Winners:

Congratulations to our Dude, Where's My Pass? Winners. We had some awesome entries and the judges had a tough time choosing.

Creating Your Video:

Create an original video that is approximately 30 seconds long, and tell us what is so awesome about JavaOne, where you are coming from, and why you have to be at JavaOne. Each submission will be considered one "Entry". You may submit multiple Entries, so long as each Entry meets all requirements. Each Entry should be original, creative, humorous, and appeal to a worldwide audience. Humor counts. For example, you could tell us about a past JavaOne you have attended and what was the best thing that you "took away" from it, how you have never been able to attend before because you could not afford travel costs and it's impossible to ride your bike across the ocean that separates you from San Francisco OR you could tell us about the Rock Stars at JavaOne and how you have always wanted to meet them or one in particular. There is so much that is so exciting about JavaOne; the possibilities are endless. Be creative!

Do not include any company confidential information or details that may be inappropriate to share with the general public. By participating you give us the right to use the video on Sun's web site and/or in other marketing promotions related to JavaOne and/or this contest.

All Entries must be in English. Registration of Entries that are in any other language will not be considered. Illegible, incomplete or inaccurate entries, entries that do not comply with these Official Rules, entries with URLs that cannot be accessed by the Judges, and entries submitted by mail, facsimile or email are void. Entries that are lewd, obscene, pornographic, disparaging of the Sponsor or otherwise contain objectionable material may be disqualified in the Sponsor's sole and unfettered discretion. Only original submissions that are personally created will be eligible to win. Please make sure you have the right to use all elements contained in your video, including items like music or photos.
