Hotel and Travel Information

Reduced Room Rates
Local hotels continue to reduce nightly rates for Conference attendees who book through the official Conference hotel block via the Conference web site. Room rates start as low as $119, and more than twenty hotels are offering rates under $200 per night. Want to get as close as you can? There are still rooms available at the headquarters hotel, the Marriott San Francisco, which is steps away from the Moscone Center. The rate is $235 per night, and high speed internet access for sleeping rooms is included in the rate. Note that all rates listed are exclusive of taxes and fees.

Securing Your Room
To sign up for housing at our Conference rates, be sure to register for the 2009 JavaOne conference and select a hotel. If you have already registered for the Conference, but did not register for a hotel room initially, you can complete your JavaOne conference hotel registration at My Registration Details. Be sure to have your username and password or Registration ID that was provided in your email confirmation handy. For pricing (tax not included) and proximity to the Moscone Center, refer to the 2009 JavaOne Conference Hotel Map.

If you need assistance, call our Conference Registration and Housing Hotline:
U.S. and Canada:  1-866-382-7151
International: +1-650-226-0820

Travel Information
To reduce the environmental impact of the JavaOne conference and lower your cost of attending, the Conference is offering limited shuttle service to outlying hotels that are not within walking distance of The Moscone Center, as well as to the Caltrain station on Fourth Street. In addition, public transportation is available throughout the San Francisco downtown area. Take BART or MUNI — there are stops and stations within walking distance of The Moscone Center. To find BART and Caltrain stations, refer to the interactive map.
