DIVISION, Inc. is a leading developer of Interactive Product Simulation (IPS) software tools for product designers and engineers. DIVISION focuses on the development of IPS tools used for product visualization, interaction, collaboration and simulation. DIVISION's dVISE product family elevates the utility of desktop product design tools by enabling designers and engineers to solve design problems such as ergonomics, assembly/disassembly, maintenance and usability with simple tools early in the design cycle.

DIVISION is using the Java 3D API to build a loader and renderer to be incorporated into Division's dVISE technology. The Java 3D API enhances dVISE technology by providing platform independent support for the level of detail necessary for interactive visualization of very large CAD models. As a result, manipulation of these files is much easier and faster.
