picturesafe GmbH is a
provider of digital asset management software for the media and
publishing industry as well as for marketing communication databases.
In addition picturesafe offers a series of services such as ASP, MSP,
consulting, professional services and full services for both market
segments.
myCONTENT
is our media asset management system for multimedia data. A large amount
of the content is comprised of image data. We make use of JAI to
generate lower resolution images from our customers high resolution
images. Depending on the customer the requirements are to
- read metadata from images
- generate thumbnails and previews
- generate high quality printable resolutions
- import large images up to 500mb raster size
- import as many files per day as possible
The lower resolution images, thumbnails and previews are used to display
the CMS content. Higher resolutions can be ordered or downloaded.
