Java JDBC API version 2.1: Maintenance Release
This release of the Java JDBC API, version 2.1, is a minor release of the API. The changes are the result of feedback from Java platform licensees, industry partners, and the
development community at large.

The following changes have already been approved and applied to this
specification.
Batch Updates:
Added new behaviour in the event of errors while processing a batch of
statements.
Drop Table Clarification section 10.6
Loosened the requirement that vendors completely support DROP TABLE as
specified by SQL 92 Transistional Level.
