Personal Basis Profile Technology

Specification:

Personal Basis Profile 1.0 (JSR 129) specification: defines a superset of the FP 1.0 (JSR 46) specification, based on a subset of J2SE 1.3.1
Personal Basis Profile 1.1 (JSR 217): an updated specification, based on a subset of J2SE 1.4.2

Reference Implementation:

PBP reference implementation 1.0.2 corresponding to JSR 129. You will also need to download separately the modified MicroWindows graphics libraries source code
PBP reference implementation 1.1 corresponding to JSR 217

Technology Compatibility Kit: The Personal Basis Profile TCK can be licensed from Sun to certify a PBP implementation (JSR 129 or JSR 217) on a particular platform. For more information about licensing terms, please contact Sun's Java Partner Engineering group.
